What do you think is the Hawaii Department of Education’s greatest strength?
The Hawaii Department of Education’s greatest strength is the huge improvements they have been making in the past several years.
What do you think is the greatest strength about the complex area that you work in? What is your complex area known for?
The greatest strength in the Waipahu/Pearl City complex is our wonderful leaders! Our complex area superintendent is making wonderful changes.
What are some fun activities that individuals enjoy doing outside school hours within the COMPLEX AREA that you represent?
I love going to high school football games, cross country meets and other sporting events and programs to support the student’s in our community.
What do you enjoy most about the students you teach in Hawaii?
My students have the biggest hearts. They root for each other through all they do. I have taught in other states and Hawaii’s students are the best!!
What do YOU enjoy doing in your free time while in Hawaii?
I love spending the day at the Kaneohe Bay Sandbar, hiking, beaching with my family and friends.
What’s YOUR favorite local food on your island? How would you describe the food?
My favorite local food on Oahu is kalua pig and cabbage. My school’s cafeteria makes the best I can find! So flavorful!
What’s your favorite place to eat on your island? What kind of food is it?
My favorite place to eat on Oahu is Duke’s Canoe Club in Waikiki. Duke’s serves a variety of delicious seafood, steaks, local dishes and extremely wonderful drinks.
