What do you think is the Hawaii Department of Education’s greatest strength?

I believe the HIDOE greatest strength is providing networking opportunities between teachers through various PDs

What do you think is the greatest strength about the complex area that you work in? What is your complex area known for?

I believe the greatest strength about the KMR complex is the diverse population of students we serve

What are some fun activities that individuals enjoy doing outside school hours within the COMPLEX AREA that you represent?

I like to work out at 24 Hour Fitness and try out all the foodie places near the school.

What are some fun activities that individuals enjoy doing outside school hours within the COMPLEX AREA that you represent?

There’s beaches and hikes, as well as a lot of good food to try out around O’ahu. I personally enjoy the community events that pop up every now and then.

What do you enjoy most about the students you teach in Hawaii?

I enjoy their humor and their personalities. They are all willing to learn and be themselves.

What do YOU enjoy doing in your free time while in Hawaii?

I am a Yelp Elite so I like to try out new spots and write reviews. I also like to take turns enjoying the city life of O’ahu and country life.

What’s YOUR favorite local food on your island? How would you describe the food?

My favorite local food on O’ahu would be a sunrise poke bowl with kalua pork and lomi salmon from Tamuras. You get mauka to makai in a bowl.

What’s your favorite place to eat on your island? What kind of food is it?

My favorite place to eat on O’ahu would have to be anywhere that serves meat. My palate changes depending on my mood. Anything with juicy meat though, I’m there.
